A meeting of the Inquistion

1. Hello Inquisitor.

2. Inquisitor.

1. Inquisitor.

 3. Will you two knock it off, what are we only 2 months old again, we've business to do and it's already bad enough that our Masters have seen fit to call us together.  100 years I've been here, pulling here, a push there, DIRECTING!  And now those fools from Terra see fit to have the 3 of us meet. I trust neither of you, make a move and my Bodyguard will level you all.

1. Yes, Yes, we all know how important the Ordo Malleus is, but have you ever thought about what the other Ordo's are doing in the sector?  Let us instead focus on what shall come, prey tell what about the Ordo Astra.  I have only ever heard their like in reports and such, and now one shall be sent here. And to lead a Cabal none the less.

2 You mean organize a Cabal, not that I or my supporters plan on supporting her.

3. Be careful with what you say witch hunter. I hear that she carries a writ from the High Lords of Terra, and endorsed from all of our Masters. Just look at this place, it is designed as a fortress and I have never seen it's like in the sector before, and the Storm Troopers...  I have a feeling that our Masters have been withholding information from us all.

1. Again, what do we know.  She is of the Ordo Astra, she is an Lord Inquisitor, and she has been sent too coordinate our actions. Why would the Ordo Astra be interested in such a place as this?

3.  Why indeed.  Why are all of our Ordo's interested in this place...

Inquisitor (54mm)

Ah, I found these stuck away in the cellar last week as I was searching for something else.  Unfortunately they didn't survive the move to Germany 9 years ago, nor the 2 moves within the last 9 years.   But before I strip the paint I thought I'd post up how they originally looked 11 sum odd years ago when I first bought and painted these guys up at GW Glen Burnie USA.

Oh, yeah!  This was the first time I had ever painted such large models of people.  Up until this point I had only painted 28mm, 1/35, and 1/72 scale models, and even then they weren't to a very high standard.  I do hope that I have gotten better over the years.

As you notice they're quite scratched and chipped, and somewhere in the box is a thumb for the Termie armored Inquisitor.  As for the shoulder mounted Psi-Cannon on the other Inquisitor, I don't think I ever mounted it, I have no idea where that could be.

Now I know I still have the Female Inquisitor and the Space Marine somewhere as well.  I just don't know if where, so it's looking like I may have to take another trip to the cellar to see what I can see.

Holy Orders of the Emperor's Inquisition

Here's one of the models that started it all!  During 2nd Edition I had pretty much always played using friends mini's or with proxy's.  This was however the very first 40K model that I ever picked up, thank god though that a buddy of mine painted it for me, otherwise I may have gave up the game completely.

+"Inquisitor, have you arrived in system?"

-"Do you not trust in the Emperor, of course I have arrived.  My agents have already begun assessing the damage."

+"Are they aware of your presence?"

-"Ha, Do you mean the guard or those imbeciles from the Ordo Xenos?"

When I look at the pictures like this, I think I really need to change the base on my Inquisitor.

+ "Inquisitor, need I remind you of the importance of this sector?  Remember your duty, serve the Emperor above all.  Exterminatus is not an option, if the planet falls then we must re-claim it in the name of the Emperor.

- "Yes my lord"

+  "If there is a chance to save the situation then do so, even if it means enlisting the aid of the other Ordo's"

A simple arm swap helped balance out the differences between the old and new GK Terminators.  Besides, I think the new arms look a lot better than the old.

Inquisitor (Part 2)

Well I'm still waiting on the bits to finish my chimera's but while digging around the celler I did find the book that belongs to my Inquisitor so I was able to get him finished up. Below are the pics...

I have the loved the idea of an Inquisitor in blue armour ever since I saw the original artwork for Hand. In fact I kick myself quite often for getting rid of him years ago, why oh why oh why... Anyways, I guess this makes up for it a little bit... I used the picture of Hand in the "Inquis Exterminatus" book as a reference to try to paint the face.

Seeing that this Inquisitor is going to be part of the Ordo Xenos I tried painting a Tyranid inside the book. I'm not the best at free hand but I think it look ok. At least I think it "looks" like some sort of creature, which was the point of course. Now he'll get put on the shelf to collect dust until I get around to finishing up the DW Kill team that will go along with him.
